Questions owners ask
Licensed Texas attorneys. Your case is prepared and argued by an attorney, not a call center or a form-filler. When you call or email Fortress Tax Defense, you reach one of the owners of the firm, the attorney who will personally handle your case.
Our fee is 30% of the tax savings we win for you, at the protest or in court. If there is no reduction, there is no invoice. That has been the arrangement every season since 2020.

It renews each year until you cancel, so we protest every year without a new sign-up. Cancel any time by emailing [email protected]. Cancel before April 15 and nothing is owed for that year; after April 15 the protest for that year is already under way, and the fee for that year applies.
Give us your details and your properties. We email you the Fortress Tax Defense agreement to sign electronically, together with the Appointment of Agent form, the State of Texas form that names Fortress Tax Defense as your agent for the protest. Sign both from your phone and our attorneys handle everything that follows.
